Valtos Beach
Often called “the golden beach of Parga” because of the long stretch of sand that shimmers in the sunlight.
Valtos is the largest beach in Parga, stretching between the marina and the foot of the Venetian Castle. The panoramic views are simply stunning, and there’s a 20-30 minute walk up to the castle if you’re feeling adventurous.
The sand is fine and soft, the water shallow at the entrance – perfect for families with kids. There’s plenty of space for games and splashing around.
Behind Valtos Beach, you’ll find guesthouses, small hotels and even a campsite – a quiet, charming area that’s ideal if you’re traveling with little ones.
💡 Tip:
📷 Bring your camera – the views of the castle and the boats on the horizon look like a postcard!

If you’re looking for peace and quiet – this isn’t the spot. Choose another beach instead!
